Representation to the national organization

Representation to the Canadian Hellenic Congress is made through the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC. The President of this provicial organization is an ex-officio Member of the National Council and the Executive. The President of the Hellenic Community of Vancouver is also an ex-officio member of the National Council and Executive.

Greek communities and other hellenic organizations

Vancouver has the third largest Greek community in Canada after Toronto and Montreal. The Hellenic Community of Vancouver is the civic organization representing all Greeks in the vacinity. There are many Greek ethnocultural associations and local Greek media, as well. A Chair of Hellenic Studies is established at Simon Fraser University. Other Communities and Greek Orthodox parishes exist in Victoria, Prince George, East Vancouver, Surrey, Kamloops, and Kitimat.
